新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大により、日本全国各地でイベントが中止、あるいは延期されるなか、3月3日には日本初上陸となる予定だった「Daydream Festival Japan」の開催中止が発表に。そして、それはいよいよ世界でも……。

3月5日、6日に開催を予定していた「Ultra Abu Dhabi」が延期となり、さらにはこのたびマイアミ「Ultra Music Festival」が現地では開催延期報道が。ちなみに、開催延期は「Ultra Music Festival」史上初だとか。

そして、3月5日にはフランスで開催予定だった「Tomorrowland Winter」が公式サイトで正式に開催中止を発表。いずれも新型コロナウイルスの影響によるもの。

どれも現地には行けないとしてもライヴ中継もあるだけに世界中で楽しみにしていたファンも多いはず。仕方がないとはいえ……残念。今後も世界中で様々なフェスが開催されるだけに注視したいところ。
